On the third tuesday of December, as is apparently tradition, it was the long, long, long awaited graduation day for first class of the Royal Military College Duntroon (RMC) The day started with a parade followed by morning tea and a comissioning ceremony, and i think there may have been a church service thrown in for good measure. It was the start to what was a very long day and several dignitaries were present, including the emperor from Star Wars (featured right)

That night we all donned our bags-o'-fruit and headed to the Canberra Convention centre for the final part of the graduation ceremony. There we were wined and dined, mostly wined, which was a worry considering the official 'pinning of the pips' wasn't to be carried out until midnight. However this didn't stop the three amigos (myself, Dobs and Scully shown left in our famous three amigo pose) enjoying ouselves in true amigo style.

After the 'pinning of the pips' had taken place those interested migrated to mooseheads, though not without a small stop on the way to let Scully do what Scully does best...
Though there is photographic evidence of what happened next, some may deem it inapropriate for this blog...
